Privacy Policy

When you book a design consultation through the booking form on this site, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the type of project you are planning, your budget band, and your timescale. We also record the date and time you choose for the appointment.

If you write to us at hello@marlbeck.co.uk, we keep the contents of your message and your contact details. We do not use cookies to track you around the site, and we do not run advertising trackers.

We use your details to arrange and carry out your design consultation, to prepare a drawing and a written price range for your room, and to send you that work. If you go on to order a kitchen, we use the same details to survey, price, make and fit it. If you do not order, we use them only to complete the consultation and to respond to any question you have asked.

Our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and, where you write to us, that it is necessary for our legitimate interests in replying and keeping a record of the conversation.

If you order a kitchen, we keep your details for the duration of the work and for six years afterwards, which is the period we need them for tax and accounting records. If you do not order, we keep the drawings, survey and your contact details for twelve months after your consultation, so that we can answer any follow-up question, and then we delete them.

Your details are seen only by the small team at Marlbeck Kitchen Studio and by the booking system that holds the appointment. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with third parties for marketing, and we do not send it outside the United Kingdom.

You have the right to see the information we hold about you, to have any mistakes corrected, and to ask us to delete it. If you would like us to erase your details, email hello@marlbeck.co.uk and we will remove them from our records, subject only to anything we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
